First of all they wanted to charge me for an extra day because we couldn’t arrive before their curfew time. Then I asked what time is “check in” and the lady said 1300 so I agreed but then asked what slot to which she said they could not tell me and would not know until arrival. We would have been driving 7-10 hours for no guarantee of a good slot???? Their customer service is horrible and business ethic is deplorable. They will never get our money.
The Playa Del Rio is a wonderful place to stay with your Motorhome, travel trailer, or fifth-wheel! The park is a very laid back, coastal community with live music, friendly neighbors, awesome camp hosts, and the best owners--Mark and Kristy McBride will definitely make sure your trip is splendid! Not only do you have a beautiful view of the Ole River and access to boat docks and kayaking, the quiet beach is also right across the street with very little crowds and walking distance to the Flora Bama and Crab Trap restaurant! Public grills are for guests to use when cooking, along with a community kitchen for extra space when serving dinner with a sunset view! Very kid and pet friendly, having 3 pet walk areas, the Playa Del Rio is a must-stay when visiting the Orange Beach/Perdido Key area, and truly defines what it is like to live at the beach!
Friendliest Staff, Great Location, Family Friendly! Extremely clean facilities! You'll get to know everyone! If you bring your boat... this place is a must stay! We will be back!
Great place to stay. Really nice people. Clean campground with great management. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. All I can ask for in an RV resort. For me the beach provides excellent fishing opportunities.
During Hurricane Irma. We were well received, helped with anything we needed and will definitely come back. Recommending to others also. Friendly staff and great accommodation's. We loved it!!!
